Constitution of Iranian watershed management society
Section 01, Aims and general comments
Article 01: In order to expand and promote science and experts, qualifications in training and researches, Iranian watershed management society (which is called the Society from now on) is established.
Article 02: The society is a fundamental and profitable nongovernmental organization is active in technical, scientific in research fields and has a logical personality and head of assembly board is representative of the society.
Article 03: Headquarter of the society is located in the campus of natural resources, university of Tehran in Karaj, Alborz Province. Branches of the society can be established everywhere right after convincing of Iranian societies, commission.
Article 04: The society established for infinite period right after convincing the
Constitution of the society. From now on, considering the laws of the Islamic republic of Iran is quite mandated for the society.
Section 02, Duties and activities
Article 05: in order to approach to the mentioned aims in article 01, the following procedures would be done:
5-1- Establishing and strengthening scientific and research relations in both national and international levels between researchers and experts in Watershed management and other related sciences.
5-2- Cooperation with executive, scientific and research institutes in assessing, reviewing and conducting projects and training programs.
5-3- Persuasion, encouragement and exhortation of researchers. Glorification, honoring and praising brilliant professors.
5-4- Presenting training and research services.
5-5- Organizing scientific conferences in national, regional and international levels.
5-6- Providing scientific bulletin, booklets, books and scientific magazines.
5-7- Organizing and contributing in training workshops and research both domestic and international tours.
5-8- Reproduction and selling magazines, arms, calendars, cards and others under arm of the society.
Section 03, Kinds and conditions of membership
Article 06: Kind and conditions of membership
6-1: Continuous membership
Society organizers and all persons with at least Master of Science n watershed management and other related majors for those without any back ground or those with Bachelor of Science with at least a 5 year experience of working in watershed management fields can get continuous membership.
6-2: Related membership
Those who have the following conditions can get related membership:
- Those with Bachelor of Science in watershed management and related fields.
- Those with Bachelor of Science with at least a 2 year experience of working in the related fields.
6-3: Student membership
6-4: Honor membership
6-5: Legal membership
Organizations working in related scientific and research fields can get legal membership.
Article 07: all the members should pay his/her tuition annualy.
